Timelines

Timelines is an expression of my growing awareness of the pliability of time. I draw with graphite and then paint with botanical inks straight and parallel lines that are never quite regular and often almost touch. Making these pieces I experience time as expansive and layered. Each (time)line refers to itself and to its neighbors, tracing a determined path across the plane and vibrating in concert with the others.
